Exchange Chess (Bughouse / Siamese Chess)
Categories: Chess Events
About
Exchange chess is by far the most popular variant of chess. It combines some of the beauty of Shogi where you can place pieces down on to the board completely changing the positions. This makes it much more a game of reaction than study. It is a 2 pairs game with both players working together in unison. Well unison, might be an overstatement more normal is the question 'where is my Queen?!'
