What makes a game a tile game? The answer to this question is a little vague yet never the less it is a definite class of game unto itself. A tile game is one where tiles (referred to as cards in some tile games) are placed so that they have to interact with other tiles and are not moved once placed (as opposed to pieces).
This can make things a little confusing as some games do not have any tiles and are still tile games and games with only tiles are not true tile games as they have moving tiles.
Tile games should always have a known set of tiles and each player will have a hand from which they can choose which tile to play.
